You made us this way
you are the reason I am who I am
today
With your technology
used to produce
guns and warfare,
notions of weapons of mass destruction,
the end serving a justification for the means
With your assertions
that you know what's best
based on the history of your past mistakes
Your media
filled with propaganda
on what separates the great divide
of what is wrong from what is right
Paranoia
to forever govern our lives
Your governments
telling people how it is
that they should live,
to fulfill the goals
you saw fit to contrive
Communism, Capitalism and Socialism
Hindu, Christian, Muslim,
Politics and Religion
merged to create
the new order that is to rule our lives
You made us this way,
in your image,
according to your mandates
So why then
question what led us astray?
