About Me

My photo
Carving out a path that is my own through the hilarity of the sacred profanities of life I merge into chaos and order, finding the inner balance within.

The Flavours of Your Loneliness.

I tested
the inflections of
the flavours of your loneliness
on my tongue,
to see how they compared to the taste of mine.

I allowed them to flood into my senses,
yearning to understand the historical antiquity
of how your heart learnt the art of loss;
why behind the disguise of laughter's loud voice
your eyes shimmered with sorrow's wintry soliloquy.

In their reflection I saw a mirror of the entropy
generations of handed down traditions of rage
and shame had wrecked on me.

Resenting how easily I dissolved into you,
I lay next to your body
accepting the touch of your
sun-blessed skin,
thinking maybe it would help me
unravel from you
so from one we
could separate into two.
