The Celestial Invitation

In my vigil of gazing into the moon's soul
I watch destiny's path before me unfold

Understanding colours the misty dew
that bursts forth from the silver dawn
of her soft gaze
and she unfurls her palms
towards the direction of my upturned face,
a gentle invitation to step into her embrace

In a daze I wander,
set asunder by the mystique of her celestial form,
the leminiscate sign flashing before my eyes
offering me perpetual, everlasting respite

Palms still extended
she reaches across to me
from a land set aflame
by the divinity of eternal light
calmed and cooled
by loves meandering insight

A holy expanse of ancient time,
riddled with holes poked through logic
by the fiddling tides of persevering rhyme

The journey begins
from the seed of a
single bean sprout,
planted firmly in the earth,
nurtured by the will of her clout

I must climb to the top
then exhale my trust
as I fall
sheltered by knowledge
that I won't shatter as I hit the ground
but rise upwards, where she rests
shimmering in velvet night skies
as she awaits my call.
